OUR STORY

Sito started with a bone to pick: most sunglasses are designed for somewhere else. Europe, the US, wherever the brand happened to launch, then sold here as an afterthought. WA light doesn't work like that. It's sharper, brighter, less forgiving, and it finds cheap tints and lazy design fast.

So we built around that instead. Shapes and tints that hold up to real glare, not whatever's trending somewhere colder and greyer. Frames built for a life spent outside more than in.

We're B Corp certified, which means someone other than us checked how we treat people, the planet, and our supply chain. Not our marketing. Not a badge we slapped on, an ongoing standard we're held to, and one we'd rather be judged by than our own copy.

Beyond that, we try not to overcomplicate it. Good sunglasses, made properly, from better materials where it counts. Worn without thinking about them, which is really the point of a good pair.

Sito comes from The Leisure Collective - the team behind OTIS Eyewear, Creatures of Leisure and Layday. Based in Dunsborough, Western Australia. Small team, female-led.

The OTIS side has been making eyewear for over 20 years. Sito is what happens when that experience gets pointed somewhere new - a brand with more room to move. No glass lenses to design around, more creative freedom, one goal: proper quality frames at a fair price. We saw the gap. Most of what's out there is overpriced or under-built. We wanted neither.

We manufacture in China, with the same people OTIS has worked with for 25 years. Not a cost-cutting relationship, a genuinely long one. They know what they're doing. So do we, by now.

We're still finding our feet, honestly. Watch this space.
