Here's what that actually means, not the marketing version. B Corp certification is an independent assessment run by B Lab, not something a brand awards itself. It scores a company across five areas: governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. You need a verified minimum score to qualify, and you get re-assessed periodically to keep the certification, not a one-time badge. 

For us specifically, that assessment covers things like our material choices (plant-based acetate over standard plastic), how we treat the people in our supply chain, and how the business is actually governed, not just what we say about it.

If a claim on this site sounds like marketing fluff, it's probably not backed by the certification. The stuff that's actually verified is worth knowing about. The rest is just words.
