CARE

Frames last longer with a bit of basic care. Not complicated, just a few habits. Below are our main tips on how to keep your sunnies around for a long time:

HANDLING

Use two hands when you take them off. One-handed removal is the most common way frames get bent out of shape, whether they're acetate or metal.

STORAGE

Keep them in their pouch when you're not wearing them. Left loose in a bag or hung off a shirt, they're more likely to get sat on, scratched, or stepped on.

CLEANING

Wipe down with a soft, damp cloth. For the lenses, use the lens cloth we provided, not your t-shirt.

HEAT

Keep them out of hot cars and off dashboards. Extended heat can warp acetate and loosen the joins on metal frames.

ACETATE FRAMES

Holds colour well and resists warping better than cheaper plastics, but it isn't indestructible. Regular care keeps it looking right.

METAL FRAMES

Check hinge screws every so often, they can work loose with regular use. Wipe away moisture or sweat so the metal doesn't tarnish over time.
